Welcome to the Senior PE Project Folio support materials.

The purpose of this series of videos is to help teachers and students complete the Project Folio tasks in the new Senior PE Syllabus. The videos provide an overview of the basic tools available for video production and possible ways of using them in HPE settings. The videos cover:

Quick Tips:

  • Shoot in landscape not portrait
  • Use a tripod
  • Avoid excessive zooming
  • Be aware of light and how you expose your image
  • Decide what you need to shoot before hitting record

Quick Tips:

  • Ambient noise - wind/air-conditioners/echo in the school hall can all degrade audio quality
  • Avoid using the in-camera microphone at a distance
  • Voice recording apps on smart phones provide a high quality and flexible audio recording solution
  • Golden Rule for audio - keep the microphone close

  • Make sure you manage your media
  • Keep notes on the good takes
  • Use whatever technology you are comfortable with
  • Keep it simple

Quick Tips:

  • Project folios need to be 9 - 11 minutes in length
  • Maximum file size is 500mb
  • Export videos in standard definition
  • Don't redirect your marker away from your folio with external links
